Having been held twice in 2015 and 2017 at My Dinh National Stadium Square, the Korea Vietnam Food & Culture Festival has become one of the largest Korea-Vietnam cultural exchange events in Hanoi, with the direct participation of CEO of Carpa, in his role as Project Director representing the Korean Association in Hanoi.
A journey through two festivals
The 2015 festival took place over two days, November 28-29, 2015, organized by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korean Association in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT/KOPIA), the Korea Tourism Organization, and the Korean Cultural Center. The program featured artists such as Baek Ji Young, Minh Hang, Thanh Duy, Jung Jun Ha, Nolza, Lee Jung, and included a special interview with Haha (a member of Running Man). Carpa also participated in this festival as a diamond booth, which is the highest sponsor level in this festival.
Two years later, the festival returned on October 27–29, 2017, on a larger scale: over 100 Vietnamese-Korean food and trade stalls, a three-day series of artistic performances, and appearances by Linh Su, Leila Minh Tri, HERD, Soobin Hoang Son, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Skull, Lee Won Il, Xuan Bac, Kim Dong Kyu — and a special meet-and-greet with Haha & Lee Kwang Soo (Running Man). The event was again co-organized by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korean Association in Hanoi.

Continuing the spirit of cultural exchange
Looking back at the 2015 and 2017 festivals, Carpa cherishes them as milestones in connecting the Korean community in Hanoi with the Vietnamese people through culture and cuisine. This also serves as a foundation for Carpa to continue pursuing Vietnamese-Korean cultural exchange activities in the current development phase of Carpa.
